FT Mental Health Therapist

Charis Counseling, who recently celebrated their 22nd year in business, is looking for an FT Mental Health Therapist for their Wausau and Marshfield Office.

Charis Counseling is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic with its headquarters located in Wausau, WI and a second office in Marshfield, WI. Charis Counseling is comprised of licensed professionals who counsel from a Christian faith-based approach but see clients from all walks of life. The ideal candidate will be a highly competent therapist trained in CBT, DBT, EFT, or ACT and comfortable working with people who have a faith orientation as well as those who do not.

Training or willingness to get training in techniques to work with trauma (ie, EMDR, Brainspotting, etc.) will be useful.

Qualifications: A licensed therapist in the state of Wisconsin (i.e, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.).

Location: Therapist will be working primarily in our Wausau or Marshfield, WI office. Position will be 2-3 days in the office and the rest of the time using telehealth from their home.

Hours: FT is considered averaging greater than 20 client hours per week (25/week is preferred).

Wage: Income is based on a percentage of collections earned by the therapist. A therapist who averages 22 clients/week over 52 weeks could expect to earn approximately $75,000 annually.
